Eric Malden, MD, FACR, is a highly respected board-certified vascular and interventional radiologist, holding the pivotal role of Chief of Interventional Radiology at RIA Endovascular. Dr. Malden is dedicated to providing exceptional care and innovation in interventional radiology.

Dr. Malden received his medical degree from the esteemed Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He soon embarked on a residency in diagnostic radiology at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, Barnes Hospital, and St. Louis Children’s Hospital, both part of Washington University.

Continuing his journey in the field, Dr. Malden completed a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology. He holds board certifications from the American Board of Radiology and a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQs) in Vascular and Interventional Radiology. 

With nearly 30 years of experience, Dr. Malden has received numerous awards and regional recognitions. In 2019, 5280 Magazine for Vascular & Interventional Radiology recognized Dr. Malden as one of Denver’s Top Doctors, an accolade he has won 14 times.

Dr. Malden’s areas of interest encompass complex hepatobiliary interventions, portal venous interventions, and urologic stone procedures. His commitment to patient care and innovative procedures ensures that patients receive the highest level of expertise, leading to improved outcomes and a better quality of life.
