Lauri L. shares her grandmother, Margaret W’s, story:

In July of 2018, my grandma developed a foot wound that became infected. She had very poor blood flow to her lower extremities. The podiatrist had to amputate her toe, but the wound still would not heal. She tried vibration massage infrared therapy, which worked for a while. Unfortunately, we had to stop that therapy and she ended up losing another toe.

My grandma was admitted to the hospital around the holidays for the ongoing issues with her foot. Dr. Tony Brown was consulted while she was there. He met with my grandma and me to explain how he could help. He used layman’s terms so that we could easily understand. I felt much better talking to him, and we decided to move forward with the recommended angiogram procedure to get better blood flow to her feet.

Dr. Brown was able to open the arteries in her legs and return blood flow! He showed me before and after pictures of the imaging, and carefully explained how well the procedure went.

The clinic staff was kind and patient, and were inclusive of us both when it came to her care and explanations. It was easy to schedule, and they treated us very well.

We were told there was nothing that could be done by others, but Dr. Brown confidently took care of my grandma. He was so positive and personable with us, and took the time to listen to all of our concerns. I would highly recommend Dr. Tony Brown and the RIA Endovascular clinic to anyone having vascular issues.
