Patient Stories: A Swollen Leg is No Match for RIA Endovascular Expertise

Patient Elaine M. shares her story:

I was in the hospital for a different procedure with Dr. Todd Kooy. While talking with him, my swollen leg came up and Dr. Kooy said he thought he could help. He carefully explained the ablation procedure he performs at the RIA Endovascular clinic. I was impressed by his confidence. He even drew pictures so that I would completely understand the procedure.

The results are amazing. I feel like dancing. I no longer have the tightness in my leg caused from the swelling.

The procedure has absolutely improved my quality of life. I am going to start joining my walking group again. I know I can build up to the three mile goal I have set for myself.

I love everyone at the clinic. They have been informative, very concerned and extremely nice. There are always friendly when I have my follow up visits. They have been very supportive throughout my journey.

I would highly recommend RIA Endovascular. I drive around 60 miles round trip to come to the Denver Tech Center to see Dr. Kooy and it is very much worth the drive to receive the care at RIA Endovascular.
