Welcome to the team, Dr. Chenet!
How, when and why did you decide to pursue a career in medicine?
I decided to pursue a career in medicine during high school. I have always had a passion for science and was deciding between a career in engineering or medicine. I decided that working in medicine would be a great way to apply my passion for science while also being able to work with and help people in a more direct way.
What do you like most about your job?
I like the wide breadth of medicine that we see in Interventional Radiology. From seeing patients in an outpatient clinic setting, to working with patients in the intensive care unit, we are able to help patients in many different ways, all while doing procedures with a minimally invasive approach.
What is your favorite way to spend free time?
Outside of work, I like to spend time with my wife and daughter outdoors, finding new places to eat, and travel. Additionally, I am an avid golfer and have my private pilot license.
What do you like most about working at RIA?
There is an incredible collaborative environment at RIA, and everyone works together to do what is best for the patient. They are also fun people to work with!
