At RIA Endovascular, our patients’ care is a team effort. A key part of that team is our Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)—including nurse practitioners (NPs) and physician assistants (PAs)—who play an essential role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
Advanced Practice Providers are highly trained healthcare professionals licensed to perform many tasks traditionally done by physicians. At RIA Endovascular, our APPs work closely with our interventional radiologists to provide comprehensive care for patients with vascular conditions, uterine fibroids, prostate issues, and more.
Our APPs perform a wide range of responsibilities, including:
Patient Consultations: Evaluating symptoms, reviewing medical history, and discussing treatment options.
Procedure Support: Assisting during minimally invasive procedures such as embolizations and angiograms.
Follow-Up Care: Monitoring recovery, managing medications, and ensuring patients stay on track with their treatment plans.
Education & Guidance: Answering patient questions and helping them understand their diagnosis and care plan.
APPs enhance patient care by increasing access, improving communication, and ensuring continuity throughout the treatment process. They allow physicians to focus on complex procedures while still maintaining a personalized approach for every patient.
At RIA Endovascular, care is a collaborative effort. Our APPs serve as a bridge between patients and physicians, making sure each individual receives attentive, thorough, and compassionate care every step of the way.
Advanced Practice Providers are a cornerstone of the RIA Endovascular team. Their expertise, accessibility, and patient-focused approach help ensure that every patient receives the highest quality care—from initial consultation through recovery.
