Kaitlyn M. Ludwig, PA-C, MPAS, is an NCCPA-certified physician assistant with six years of experience caring for patients in emergency and urgent care settings. She has extensive experience evaluating and treating acute and complex medical conditions in both adults and children while working collaboratively with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary care teams.

Kaitlyn earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Colorado Child Health Associate/Physician Assistant Program in Aurora, Colorado. During her training, she completed clinical rotations in emergency medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, orthopedic surgery, general surgery, cardiology, pediatric pulmonology, pediatric endocrinology, hospice and palliative care, and neonatology. She previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Washington in Seattle.

Throughout her career, Kaitlyn has developed a strong procedural background. Her experience includes laceration repair, incision and drainage, wound care, arthrocentesis, paracentesis, regional nerve blocks, lumbar puncture, fracture and dislocation management, splint application, intravenous access, and point-of-care ultrasound. She is also experienced in interpreting laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging, preparing patients for procedures, obtaining informed consent, and providing post-procedure monitoring and education.

Before becoming a physician assistant, Kaitlyn worked as a certified nursing assistant in the Department of Radiology at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. In this role, she cared for patients in inpatient and outpatient radiology settings, assisted with procedural preparation and recovery, and supported radiology workflows.

Kaitlyn is known as a motivated and adaptable clinician who values clear communication, compassionate care, and close collaboration with patients and their families. Her emergency medicine experience, procedural skills, and longstanding interest in radiology provide a strong foundation for delivering patient-centered, image-guided care.

She is originally from Seattle and moved to Colorado to attend PA school. She loves spending time with her husband, two kids, and dog. She enjoys running, snowboarding, and cheering for the Seattle Seahawks during football season.
